COBRA maneuver

COBRA maneuver

Cobra maneuver consists of a rapid pitch-up from the horizontal to a full 120 degress. The pilot holds this attitude as the aircraft continues to move horizontally. Airspeed drops rapidly, but the thrust vectoring system, fly-by-wire controls, canard and tail surfaces allow the pilot to pitch the nose down.
Performing Cobra maneuver, which can now be flown to angles of attack beyond 120 degrees, pointing the aircraft backwards from its flight path. Due to the thrust vector nozzles, the fighter can be brought forward into a normal flying attitude in only a few second

BELL Maneuver

Bell maneuver begins as a vertical climb, but with airspeed rapidly decreasing to about 0 kt. at the top. Using TVC, the pilot holds this position for 2-4 sec., then pitches the aircraft onto its back, lets the nose fall toward the vertical and rolls out in another plane while accelerating.

KULBIT (SOMERSAULT) maneuver
One of the demonstrations is the 'Kulbit' (which means 'circle' in Russian), a high angle-of-attack 'Cobra' pitch-up, followed by a low-airspeed, looplike vertical rotation.
This variation of the Cobra maneuver was first demonstrated by the Sukhoi Su-27. This 'somersault' combines rapid deceleration with a full 360-degrees, tight-diameter loop.

Russian UFO Jet Fighters 2014

At a recent airshow in Paris, Russia showed off the maneuverability of their latest jet fighters..
